Hey, how are you? Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to take a look at my website, home of A.M. Standish. So what have I been up to? Well, to be honest so much has happened since my website was published. I have published my first book of poetry, Crack On which is now available on Kindle, Paperback and hardback. Check out the books section of my website for more details 😊

I am currently working on my first fantasy novel, Helgorith - Battle for Helgor. This is the first in the series and my biggest project to date. This story is evolving faster than I could ever imagined, with the introduction of many more characters than I first planned but each have their own purpose and bring another exciting element to Helgorith.  the book is scheduled to be released early in 2025. At present, I am on schedule 🤣 I have started to work to a schedule as this helps me to stay on track, over time this will become second nature.

With the website now live, I intend to write regular blogs to update my readers to the progress I am making with my books, latest releases, events and a whole lot more. I have also setup a Facebook Group for the Wigan Book Club, along with this I have also created a Discord server for the club so that our members can keep in contact with each other in real time, share current reads and books to be read, not forgetting regular meetups. So much has changed and all for the better.

I have also started writing my Sci-Fi series which I will tell you more at a later date as it’s still in the development stage. Once the character and story has become apparent, I will share with you all.

What else am I forgetting?

Oh yeah, nearly forgot. I am now planning to setup various book signings at venues across Lancashire. Dates and places are to be confirmed, once I know I will share with you in the events page on the site 😊

I am so happy with the progress that I have made and now a dream that is coming true, a published author 😊but my work is only just starting, so much more is to come and I thank you all for being a part of this incredible journey. Thank You 😘
